What Will The Parker Colorado Real Estate Market Be Like In 2013

Where does our real estate market go from here, as we venture into 2013?

The future for Denver area home buyers and sellers looks bright.  Sellers can now market and sell their homes in a reasonable amount of time.  And buyers can lock in some tremendous interest rates for 30 years-rates, rates we haven’t seen since our parents’ generation, or earlier!

There are no certainties, but there are some expectations. Mortgage interest rates should remain at or close to historic lows. Home values will continue to increase. Not at the double digit rate we experienced at times in the past, but at a more moderate pace. Bank foreclosures and short sales won’t be as prevalent as they have been the past few years. And resale inventory will remain at relatively low levels as buyer demand continues.

You know I hate to sound cliché, but this really does seem to be an excellent time to buy or sell.  Those of you who know me well, know I haven’t always been able to say that, but I’m optimistic and looking forward to 2013.  Hope you are too!
